Up until now, I was just happy to find a bra that fit well and made my clothes look good on me. However, all of my favorite large cup bras are well over $50 a piece, and worth every penny, I might add. So are there any budget plus size bras, bras under $35 that can stack up to my favorites that cost nearly twice as much? I explored this recently after a trip to Lane Bryant where I found two bras that were comparable in style to a couple of my favorite bras, plus a plus size convertible pushup bra!

My Affordable Full Figure Bra Reviews

	Bali No Poke Wire Bra Who doesn't like a comfortable AND affordable plus size bra that offers good support? On a recent shopping trip, I stopped by a newly opened Lane Bryant Outlet store to see what I could find. With the new staff eager to please, I was offered a free bra fitting -- how could I pass that up? This time the measuring was done over my clothes, and the saleswoman confirmed that I'm a 40DDD. The Bali No Poke Wire Bra was of the three bras that she recommended. This one is also very similar to the Wacoal Seamless Wire Bodysuede Ultra, and is my favorite of the three. It has the special Bali "no poke" wires which is always nice, and it also has the sling feature that keeps my girls pointing forward and not spilling out the sides. And to top it off, it's regularly priced at under $30!
	Cacique Stretch Cotton Full-Coverage Underwire Bra The Cacique Stretch Cotton Full-Coverage Underwire Bra was the second of the three bras that were recommended to me by the Lane Bryant Outlet saleswoman. This was a close runner-up to the Bali No Poke Wire Bra. The fits are very similar -- both of them seamless and having four hooks in the back. I thought that this bra was a bit snugger compared to the Bali Bra, but I like it and it fit well. Another comfy and affordable bra to add to my collection!
	Cacique Sensual Curves Lace-Trimmed Underwire Bra This bra is comparable in style and fit to the Wacoal Seamless Wire Bodysuede Ultra. It's made of a comfy cotton blend stretch fabric that provides good support. The underwires do not come up that high in the center of the bra which makes it nice for lower cut tops. The only drawback is that it does not have the inner slings that I really like about the Wacoal bra. The Sensual Curves Lace-Trimmed Underwire Bra is my favorite of the Cacique bras and has made it into my day to day bra rotation.
	Cacique Sensual Curves Sculpted Full-Coverage Bra I tried on the Cacique Sensual Curves Sculpted Full-Coverage Bra because it was the only bra in my size that seemed comparable to the LeMystere Tisha Bra. (Cacique carries a lot of bras in cup size DDD for band size 42 and greater, but not always in a size 40 band size and smaller, so this eliminated a bunch of options.) This was the one bra that I didn't particularly care for and did not buy. However, I'd like to note that I have not had good luck with padded bras until I came across the LeMystere Tisha. That said, I liked how the center part of the bra does not come up too high, perfect for lower cut tops. And since it's padded, this bra helps to accentuate your curves nicely. I think that if this bra fits you right, it would be great for wearing under t-shirts.
	Cacique Ultra Curves Convertible Plunge Bra Wow! I had no idea I had so much cleavage. Ok, this is my first push up "plunge" style bra. I mean, I've been trying for years to minimize my bust, not put it on display. And put it on display, this bra does well. Complete with "removable cookies" -- small pockets inside the cup that allow you to add more padding. So I personally won't wear this bra regularly, but it's good to have for those special occasions. The Ultra Curves Convertible Plunge Bra is also nice to have because it has thin, convertible straps that can be crisscrossed and a thinner than normal band that is great for sleeveless tops.

All in all, I was happy to find more affordable alternatives to my favorite full figure bras. Will I abandon my $64 LeMystere bra for a $34 Cacique bra? Not yet, not on a day to day basis, anyway. I think this is a case of "you get what you pay for". However, I'm glad to find that Lane Bryant also carries a lot of sexy bras in a wide variety of styles and colors in my size that won't break the bank when I'm looking for something fun.
